It would be interesting to see a game mechanic implemented where you learn breathing styles through books (like Rengoku did in the anime). Perhaps a trader could spawn randomly on the map, with a low probability of them carrying a book. The book would provide quests and upon completion new skills would be unlocked. This could be used as an alternative method for obtaining breathing styles. The book would be stored in your inventory, and you could switch breathing styles at any time (after a reset) without having to go to a trainer. Alternatively, if there are custom breathing styles in the game, you could make them obtainable only through books. After the book is used, it disappears.
