Slayer marks obtainment:
You can obtain slayer marks when you are on the verge of death and have dealt a lot of damage to an upper moon boss (expecting it to be super strong) there is a slight chance for you to awaken a slayer mark

Slayer mark:
-The slayer mark will boost strenght agility and breathing stats by 15-30% (debatable)
-Transforms your ninchirin sword into a bright red one which slows down demons healing
-Also grants you a 10-15% resistance on all 3 cold fire and poison resistance
-Transparent world acquirement mentioned here

I feel like this way it can be very realistic since lore based yea ik it annoys ppl when others say lore based but still lore based since the sengoku era until the era of the tanjiro idk its name no one has ever acquired a slayer mark since it’s rare and obtained through hard challenges
