I re-joined the server after hearing about dsrpg3/Hinokami. I was avidly into the community a few years back, even played the game on release. And the biggest critique I had for dsrpg2 (and ultimately the reason I hesitantly left the game 2 years ago) was the inability for Console/Mobile players to rank up or compete for lore spots. It was very unfortuanate, since not all of us could afford a gaming PC/laptop.

I hope this game will not face those same problems, since roblox developing has progressed so much since the original dsrpg2. I have a PC now but I still prefer controller, so good support for console/controller (where you can customize your own keybinds, similar to Mugen) would be amazing.

It’s not even about if we can afford a pc or not it’s simply we prefer console or mobile and we should be able to rank up even if that’s our choice of device

The issue was that console and mobile platforms had genuine combat advantages that were easy to abuse

The adavantages had far outweighed those, I'm just explaining why things were the way they were

Right pc has always had the advantage in any game and people complain about lock on or other things since it helps to actually compete with pc

The issue in rpg2 wasn't lock on, it was that console/mobile players had greatly reduced stun, glitchy cooldowns that usually got voided (aka shorter cds), the ability to stack moves, etc

The bug only happened on console/mobile, not pc, which gave an additional advantage to those two platforms

I see but I wouldn’t call it an advantage considering it wasn’t supposed to be there, calling it an advantage makes it seem like they’re meant to have it and it’s just op
