In DSRPG 2, Snake Breathing currently has 4 forms and could benefit from a rework. Here are some rework ideas:

  1. First Form:
Instead of the current gas attack, it could be reworked based on the canonical fifth form from Demon Slayer. The user dashes toward multiple enemies (similar to Water or Thunder Breathing third form), applies poison, has a 5s cooldown, and a 3s global cooldown. It would be unique for a first form.

  2. Second Form:
No major changes needed since it was recently improved. A possible addition is a finisher effect when it breaks block.

  3. Third Form:
Perfect as is; no changes suggested.

  4. Fourth Form:
Should be replaced using the canonical fourth form as reference. In stage 1, the user dashes forward. In stage 2, two snake heads appear on the sides, striking and poisoning the enemy. Stage 1 has a 6s cooldown (2s global), stage 2 has a 10s cooldown (4s global) to prevent spam.

  5. Fifth Form (New):
Inspired by the current fourth form and based on the second canonical form. The user jumps and then dashes forward as a giant snake, breaking block and dealing 25% damage. It has a 30s cooldown and 3–4s global cooldown, and applies poison.

30 second cd blockbreak doing 25% plus poison, very logical

An ult isn't a 30 second cooldown bud

Also your "original" first move that is "unique" you also actively said would be similar to water 1st...

# dusky flint Pretty sure it doesn't do 25% + dot damage though, never really cared to test it

I mean, a quarter of life, and it's also a bit difficult to come up with a new idea in some way because either they used that form but it needs a rework or they added one that isn't based on the original forms. Not to mention that the fifth snake would just be a forward dash, the water one is, so to speak, an explosion with a very high range and if you're closer it does more damage. The fifth snake would do the same damage whether it's close or far away. balances are weird.

  1. Too OP, multi-target first form, unnecessary extra damage, low cooldown.

  2. Redundant effect, overcomplicates, no need for finishers, just a ko button.

  3. Fine as is.

  4. Clunky, overloaded cooldowns, no need for every move to do poison.

  5. Mini-ult, too much packed in.
