When it's something that is only good in specific types of games, I'd personally recommend waiting before suggesting, to see if it'd even be close to fittint

That way, there would atleast be a slightly better chance of what he wants being part of the game on full release.

It's more of the amount of suggestions being made, rather than clogging up the system with things most games already do and that might already be in more might not even be right for the game, to wait and see if they'd fit and/or are already included

These thread things can only have so many threads made in them to my knowledge, and making ones that are obvious or that may not fit at all will just back up the actual important/necessary suggestions, moving them further down the list
