In the heat of battle, a critical moment happens: a Demon readies a deadly attack, or a Slayer has the chance to strike. The game immediately enters a quick cinematic pause—nothing too long, just a brief second to set up the action.

You’ll see a prompt—something simple like “Press X to dodge,” “Press Z to attack,” or “Press C to block.” You’ve got one or two seconds to make a decision. It’s fast and intuitive, not complicated. No thinking—just reacting.

If you hit the right button, your character performs a smooth move—dodging, countering, or attacking—all within a second or two. The animation is quick but impactful, showing the consequence of your choice, and then the action jumps straight back into real-time combat.

If you miss the prompt, you take a hit or fail to land your attack. It’s fast but effective—no long delays, just the immediate result of your decision.

The goal is to keep the flow intense and engaging, with quick decisions that feel satisfying but don’t slow down the gameplay. The battle continues, and you’re right back in it.

QTEs, especially that go into a cinematic style effect, are far more catered towards single player story games, not online games
