If you want, when your sword is sheathed you can hold the draw button to pull it out and inspect your sword. It'll then tell you what your sword status is:

Broken, Damaged, Good condition, Or whatever the devs decide.

The CoolDown For Checking Is 10 minutes since there's no need to check it every few seconds lol.

As long as the animation can't be used to stall/extend things, it'd be cool

And a cooldown would be unnecessary imo
