i loved rpg2, everyone did, its diffrent. it wasnt that p2w, no clan system, it is WONDERFUL, we are all very patient for rpg3 and we know it will be amazing.
the pvp was so good, but slayer marks would make it even better.
u can toggle slayermark/awakening when..

  • when user has dealt alot of dmg
  • and when user is under half hp
user can activate slayer mark that shows on the cheek, depends on breathing ofcourse
    buffs
  • more speed
  • less cd
  • slightly more damage
  • mark ( depends on breathing syle )

requirments:

  • max level
  • and u guys choose some stuff ion know.
of course, this is unfair to demons.

so demons should have an awakening

  • faster regen speed
  • speed buff ( not as good as slayers )
  • ( higher dmg buff )
  • aura effect
these awakenings can only be used at max level, and when both players have access to them.

Slayer marks and temp modes are likely to be purely cosmetic as they are attrocious for balancing and combat

#

The intent of our game is to be well balanced all around, with the only advantage being the skill of the player, and every person aside from their skill has an equal chance in a fight

We've seen the issue of temp-mode based combat through games such as Type Soul, which had massibe balancing issues through the inclusion of temp modes among other things

#

At the most simple yes or no value, they are unbalanced, that being "when you toggle it, are you healed or not"

well i guess ur right, i just thought it would be nice

If you are healed, whoever activates second is at an advantage, if you are not healed, whoever activates first has the lead

#

That alone is bad for balancing, not to mention the details of the buff behind that value

u dont need to be healed, u just stay at the same hp, gaining buffs

In that case, the first to activate has an immediate advantage over the other

#

Likely enough to immediately win the fight if they play their cards right

#

Which is not fair in the slightest

#

Balancing out temp-mode combat is extremely difficult to do, and when done correctly, still results in a product that many people would complain about, as they want it to be overpowered when it would likely barely be any different from without toggling it

I did not think of it like that
