I like it tbh, nothing impactful on combat, nothing mandatory
is there even gonna be a crouch button in hinokami
if there is, it’d probably make more sense to add sitting as a command you’d send in chat
like /e sit
which exists in rpg2
I think they showed it when they showed that you can spy on people and gain information
Holding crouch would be better
I don't think some players want to type it out every time
Plus holding would be faster
I think it would be better to do holding then a prompt pops up, incase somebody doesn't want to crouch but is more comfortable holding a key
i think it could be a nice idea to maybe make it like an emote? or like Scout said have it be a hold, and then a prompt pops up
I like the idea of holding a button resulting in a prompt for certain alternative actions rather than emotes like most games do them
it's a unique touch that I haven't seen before
how often would people wanna sit down and do nothing đź’€
Never said it'll be for everyone goofy.. it'll be for those who want to enjoy a view
People don't have to use it often for it to be good for those who do use it
So you can sit close to a river and just watch the sunset or something or admire the graphics
so what? doesn’t change the fact that little to nobody is gonna sit down often enough such that typing the command in chat becomes a significant hindrance
on the other hand, binding sitting to holding crouch might cause some players to unintentionally sit
i think you’re missing my point
faster by what, half a second? and why would speed be a consideration for a feature meant for “relaxation”
Why would it matter. It's cool so I suggested holding down crouch. Maybe pc players can do it faster due to fast typing sure but mobile players definitely not. Keyboard lag etc. so I chose a hold promt
It can be an emote or whatever I really don't care. I just suggested it I'll let the devs decide
“why would it matter” you literally brought up it being faster?
i’m not dissing your sightseeing idea, i’m just explaining that your original keybinding is not feasible
Ok
that’s why i said “it’d make more sense to add sitting as…” instead of “it wouldn’t make sense to add sitting”
