STATS:
Stat points are boring to allocate so what if we made it unique?
Affinity Pools:
Each player has affinity pools that represent connections to aspects of their choices or experiences, rather than stats like "Strength" or "Dexterity."
Affinity pools might include categories like Bravery, Wisdom, Instinct, and Harmony. Each one has different skill and stat boosts:
Attunement Events:
Instead of choosing points directly, players grow their affinities by encountering certain attunement events that subtly change their character. For example:
Bravery:
A player who often does combat-related actions and uses more physical based weapons skills or attacks will increase their Bravery pool.
Instinct:
A player who stays in battle for long periods of time or has status effects for long periods of time or is low on health for long periods. Will increase the resilience pool. Basically endurance based things
Wisdom:
A player who uses magic or magic item's and basically anything using magic often will increase their mind pool.
