If you're a demon slayer and you kill another demon slayer npc you can be punished by, being exiled or executed. If you kill ubuyashiki or the slayer corpse's mastery then you are forever banned from the slayer corps.

If you're a demon player and kill another uppermoon player then you take their spot, you can get challenged once a week, and there are requirements to challenge an uppermoon to their position.

you can be a hashira's tsugoku if they allow you to be one, and there should be requirements to it.
Hashiras can also retire whenever they please ( but are expelled from becoming one again )

It is beyond basic

Entirely carried by the animation studio that took over the anime

Nobody likes the demon slayer manga for the manga, they only read it because of the anime in order to get ahead

the manga is beautiful ngl with the final arcs, but basic anime doesnt mean bad, take jjk and dragon ball for example they're considered "basic" and i will admit the world building is pretty bad and the backshtories are similar but they are still unique in their own wways because of how the characters learn and act on their tragedies and the paths they take and how different the characters are from each other

Basic doesn't mean bad when executed well, unlike demon slayer, many characters are extremely two dimensional, some characters are purely reskins of others, in terms of a gebuine story, it is shit

I definitely agree, I mainly watch demon slayer because sometimes you just wanna watch cool, well animated fights with simple dialogue so it’s not being too complicated.

Like the entertainment district is what really got people hooked

And 80% could write it better by a mile

Right, like they already said that to take the role of hashira or upper rank you 1v1 the holder and get the title of you beat them. If you encountered them in the game then you could just third party and take the title no problem

Objectively, demon slayer is about as basic as it gets, and its pretty god awful

But hashiras being permanently banned from gaining their title back is terrible

It discourages all the good players from being active in the community

And it would kill the game off extremely quickly

And i think features to make immersion better i good and all

But demon slayer is pretty bad, and i dont think hinokami is using it for any more than a base concept

Demon slayer is a rlly good base for the game yeah. It's taking inspo from plenty of other games and some other animes, but since the power system is so basic it makes things less complicated for players then say bleach (EX: Peroxide)

And when it comes to things like a show, there are qualitative ways to determine the quality of it

And those methods result in the fact that demon slayer IS garbage

The only good thing about it is the animation quality, which is not even because it's demon slayer

It's only due to the company that produced the anime

Their characters are all extremely flat, basic beyond belief, the world building is attrocious, they reuse backstories, the in-universe power systems are absurdly inconsistent, the mc gets powerups every single fight just cause he's losing

It is not good

That doesn't mean people with low standards cannot enjoy it, but the fact of the matter is that it is not a good story by any standards
