I saw someone mention this but for the story have it where maybe a long the line you fight an enemy that’s a scripted loss to show how weak you start and then eventually in the story you will fight that enemy again and won’t be a scripted loss to show how far you’ve come kinda like in ghost of Tsushima and elden ring and other games

scripted losses are semi-okay in single player games
but never good in multiplayer imo
