make it so if you die to the starter demon then when the demon is about to eat you a random hashira can come in killing it and saving you, when that happens you can either ask that hashira to train you or leave and find someone else. Lets say rengoku saved me, then if i ask him to train me i can get flame. This can work for every hashira but if you dont want to get trained by that trainer then you leave and try kill the starter demon again. So either way you will get trained by someone and it will be harder to become a demon which will make them play the game more to earn it.
