instead of crows flying next to u all the time, make is so that it can stand around building roofs and it could also like sit on ur shoulder or head. And once u go far away from it, it could fly above u. And when it gives u a mission it should be able to like land on ur arm. idk tho maybe hard for u guys. Also u should make customizable birds, so u could like give them names or like maybe cut out voice lines of the different birds, like how some birds are girls, and how kagayas bird sounded like a grown man, and make chuntaro bird
