Don't try to base stats off the anime it usually ends up unbalanced and the demons will just be more op than the slayers eg project slayers although in this game its more than likely not going that route since slayer marks are not a thing and clans are cosmetic I just wanna put this out there just in case

I agree only partially I think it makes sense but I'm sure regardless of this they will give demons a health boost I think slayers might have more attacks than demons to begin with or the attacks will do more damage and I think that they might make it the opposite for demons they have more hp but attacks might have more cool down or less attacks over all
