Basically add a skill tree for the breathing styles,

Way i see it
A) the skill tree lets u unlock those new moves as u level up, and buff certain aspects of those moves as well
B) u learn the breathing style with all the techniques, and the skill tree can still buff certain aspects of the move

And basically, add passives for the breathing styles, and different interactions too I guess

Flame-burn damage, if u want, they’re said to be very determined and passionate, as a battle goes on they get more determined increasing defense slightly
Wind- higher base speed, they’re very agressive, they do more block damage
Thunder- higher dash speed
Water- very defensive form, have greater blocking capabilities, longer parry duration(?)
Stone-slower m1, greater damage, destroyed objects could potentially be used for some of the breathing forms (for example in the manga he hits the ground so hard rocks come up and he hits them towards the enemy)
Mist-edit) mist’s passive was too op so I’ve changed it
For every dash u form a bit of mist in the area, making it a bit harder for the opponent to see, adding to the mist created by the moves themselves
Faster dashing speed
Flower- when hitting moves ur dashing length becomes faster
Sun breathing: burn damage, decreases demon healing speed,
Beast breathing: idk I’ll think of smthn: Edit immunity (or high resistance) to poisons and increased overall durability, serrated swords for more bleed damage
Insect: obviously has the wisteria poison, but should it be used on humans too?
Love- further m1 range, The movement options are faster and better due to the agility of the user
Serpent- a sword is not fully required(moves can be used whilst not having the sword equipped though it will be weaker),
The slashes do not match the animation fully due to the swerving and confusing nature of the breathing style,
Sound: the attacks have a second impact doing extra damage

Cuz if you really think about it

Some can be too overwhelming or overpowered

#

So I recommend a less longer cool down on abilities and a 18% increase on speed

I didn’t mean for it to be so op, it was supposed to be a slight visual blur, on the edges of the screen, where if the user is good enough they add a few extra blind spots to the opponent like mist would

Well sun is basically fire damage, but if they add a limb system u could make it so that the limbs take a decently longer time to come back

you can assign a keybind for the beast passive

so when you do an m1 combo, you have a choice to press that key and lift them up from ragdoll with your two swords

arent thunder's passive and flower's passive is the same? i mean the only difference that your dashes become faster just only when you are hitting someone i mean maybe instead of dashes like thunder just make that your speed will increase 10% or 5% more for 10 sec. also beast breathing could be that you just have a regeneration hp buff or just more hp because inosuke has alot durability and also posions dont affect him so
