In dsrpg2 a lot of slayers like to kill other slayers usually they pick on newbies so there could be a reputations syatem like if they kill humans they get bad rep and if they kill demons they get good rep and this could go for demons aswell but if you get enough of bad rep you are labled as a traitor or something along those lines

! For those that ever played Demon Slayer Midnight Sun (Great game btw! Parry based combat with demon slayer and actually quite enjoyable) there's a BIG issue with ppl that go hybrid, grab moon breathing, and just pick on the populus that's tryin to farm for xp and etc.

If this game gets that same issue I'm gonna be dissapointed as HELL. I'd honestly even suggest maybe a pvp toggle, cause like, with all the demon slayer games, it's seemed like there's just a rampant issue with stuff of this variety.

Why not also add a honor system
Honor would only work between players and affects the opinion of npcs on you
Honor will increase by a fixed value by defeating players of the same level or slightly weaker and increase by defeating players of higher level of power than you
Honor will not decrease nor increase by defeating players that are moderately weaker than you
And decrease by lot if you kill players that are considerably weaker than you
Honor will also decrease or not increase as much by killing players that lost a certain percentage of health by another player

I'm not sure about this because you could just get jumped and no one would get punished I feel it should be if you are a slayer the npcs would punish you for killing players by staying silent and not giving any secrets untill you load back into the game or something along those lines I don't think it should really have anything to do with level more as killing your teammates

True the goal of this isn't to show that the player defeated alot of other players in his faction or of the other faction
The goal of honor is to tell other players that this player kills players way weaker than him
(And the main goal isn't to punish the gameplay of someone as it might ruin their experience if they can't access to some secrets everyone should access because they had fun killing other players of the same faction)

This is a great idea make it so the when you reach a certain reputation you lose your slayer rank and have all you will be banned from all slayers locations until you bring your reputation back up,but you always have a symbol that says traitor
