with slayers they should always have bladed weapons like katanas but instead of just that, there can be weapons like scythes, knives, axes, nagitanas, sais, gyomei's wrecking ball and axe, and sickles. (thats off the top of my head). The slayer katana's should consist of snake katana, insect katana, saw katana (inosuke's), and elastic katana.
And for demons, they have their fists mostly so they can use weapons that are more lethal for example: upper moon 4's lightning staff, whips, brass knuckles (a little bit more damage than fists), nunchucks, greatsword, and maybe also a katana. (also off the top of my head).
