Anyway, you're literally proving the developers right; they know a majority of the community wants to use sun and moon breathing, and therefore sun and moon breathing would overshadow all the other hard work they put into the game, like other breathings, if sun and moon breathing actually get added.

If they made sun and moon breathing difficult to obtain to counteract this, then it would be reasonable to make them stronger than other breathings, because other breathings aren't as hard to get.

But if they make sun and moon breathings stronger, then they would dominate in pvp, and would also become the extremely popular choice for pvp, which (once again) overshadows other breathings, and gives sun/moon breathers an unfair pvp advantage.

Lastly, Hinokami is ultimately the developers' game. While it is important for them to listen to their community at certain times, they're still the ones making the final decision on what gets added or removed. We as players do not have the right to demand developers to make any changes as long as there is no misrepresentation of quality. More importantly, the developers understand the cohesion of the game the best, and they are not obligated to listen to the demands of individuals who believe they have the privilege of controlling the game's development despite a lack of knowledge and intellectual capability.
