In Hinokami, the BDA roll’s shouldn’t be RNG, you should be able to choose your BDA just like you can choose your breathing. But then everyone would just choose Akaza or Hantengu or whatever BDA is most loved by the player base in rpg3. Right? yeah, exactly right. But because nobody in their right mind wants more fucking RNG and gambling, it would be fair to say the dev’s should remove the RNG for getting a bda, but again, everyone would get the same bda. So to prevent this and have a balanced demon’s player base with various bda’s, my personal idea is 1. Obviously to give them decent balancing with just straight up how good they are. 2. Probably the most underrated idea, but it would likely make the game much more balanced, and fun if you didn’t balance how good the bda’s are, but how fun they are to use. A huge implementation in video games isn’t just making them fair but making them actually enjoyable to play for all classes, dsrpg2, imo kind of failed on this, with one example being temari literally just throwing ball’s over and over again, and arrow being even worse, sure you CAN make them fun, but it’s widely agreed upon that it’s more enjoyable to kick some ass by doing an Akaza combo than to throw some balls at your opponent and either get pb spammed or just instantly win. And i’m not saying that temari and arrow are literally just spam, theres plenty of comboes and stuff with them, but i don’t know if it’s with the VFX, the mechanics, the forced close range combat or just the general feeling of the bda but it’s alway’s been more fun to play as akaza, or hantengu, or flame etc. That’s about all i had to say, any support or criticism will be accepted.

Note: There would still be people that got the less popular bda’s like arrow, biwa, temari, etc, not trying to say they would completely not exist but realistically IF the dev’s to something similar that they did with rpg2 and make some bda’s better in vfx, mechanics, enjoyability, etc then it’s not unrealistic to assume that they would be like wayy more common than the other ones

just because it’s in the anime, it doesn’t mean it’ll make sense in a game

maybe you could make it so that you could also only choose a limited amount of moves and not all to make builds more unique or smt

not to accuse higo cuz ik hes against all that but it should not cost robux or a significant amount of progress to get the art you want, especially if you end up not liking it

also the fact that you can roll the same art twice is kinda bullshit although i understand it's not convinient to fix that
