It would be interesting if hinokami added bodyguard's that you can purchase with yen. The more yen you spend the higher quality of bodyguard you get, you can have one at a time and they last until you die. As for controls they will attack anyone who attacks you and you can select anyone you can see by hovering your mouse over them and clicking x or some other keybind. If targeted by a body guard you will get an alert and the bodyguard will rush towards you, if you kill the bodyguard then the user will have to buy another one. Bodyguards can do pvp and pve however you will not get any yen or exp if you do pve, however if the bodyguard kills someone in pvp then you can exe them. As for balancing and how hard the bodyguards are, they're no match for any skilled player, if you got a max quality bodyguard (which would likely cost around 10k yen) then it will be about as strong as a level 150 player. As for skill it will have the best ai you can put on it and the damage health speed and ai will decrease as you get to the lower quality bodyguard's. You can also put priority setting on them like defending you or killing another player, though note that bodyguards will be 30% stronger when defending instead of attacking.
Overall, the bodyguard feature would be good for defending newer players from people who randomly attack newer players, that's about it for my suggestion. All support or criticism will be accepted.
