im ngl, humans and demons aren't enough races. having 2 is bound to cause some racism. We need like 4 races at least, give me a uh... hybrid demon-human, that can wield a sword and have a breathing, but has limited bda moves or sum, dies when it thinks too hard idk. Get a bird like race too fr, birds are sick as hell.

Did you know that the maximum dive speed of a peregrine falcon ever measured was 242 mph? That makes it better than you. Better than me. Why do birds get the skies while we are stuck on the ground 😭

Shoot also I just thought of a dive, that'd be sick. Imagine a quicker way of jumping off a cliff, since the ground may be the quickest way to move freely. Think of it like a fast-fall in super smash bros.

I was half asleep so like I was making jokes. But actually people will always say "this race is the best race" in any game, regardless of how many races there are. The reason I suggested both (aside from not sleeping well) was because I believe that more choices will allow for more play options. I'll give an example:

If there are 10 arts and 10 breathing styles, but only 1 race per choice, there are only 20 ways to play. Once you incorporate a 3rd race, maybe one that can do some arts and some styles (but not in a hybrid way, they can't do both), you double the ways to play. In a perfect world with infinite development time, you have 50 breathing styles and 50 arts (non canon obvs), 4 races, all of which can choose either or... You go from 100 play styles to 6,250,000 play styles. Now idk bout you but bigger number = better game imo. Choices are lovely to have. It makes each players' experience more unique to them.

I mean there are different play styles with different races, and 50 was my blown up number, I never expect more then 15 MAX. if we have 15 arts and 15 breathing styles, but 4 races, that's still 50,625 play styles to choose from. which is HUGE compared to 30.

granted, balancing will be an issue. But that will be the case regardless of scaling I believe. If anything, a unique race could do something as small as add a unique way to stand or walk/run, and I'd still be happy with that.

it's just the law of the land, not everything can be kept equal forever. But if we go with the sub-suggestion where I said "The different races can just change something as small as a walking/running animation or a standing animation" or something along those lines, there shouldn't be a better race because it's all personal preference on how one would want to stand or move around 🤷‍♂️
