If someone (player or otherwise) inflicts especially high knockback on you, you could negate it by dashing, either at all or in a specific direction. I think this would make fights more engaging, as there is less time spent out of control, and there are more ways you can interact with a give scenario.

but I think they're already adding evasives

and if you add a mechanic similar to ragdoll canceling while already having evasives in the game then fights could really be drawn out unnecessarily.
