Add elo rating to ranked 1v1s.
Players are matched such that both players have similar elo.
Similar to chess.com elo.
This is a more reliable way to assess a player’s skill in ranked 1v1s, rather than just the number of wins, as sometimes (pretty often, considering the low amount of new players), experienced players are matched with relatively newer players, causing a one-sided match. Elo rating system should fix this issue.
There are other games in roblox that already implement elo systems, or a similar concept.
Smurfs and Boosting: Not much can be done, but i guess a reporting system, and an automatic flagging system that triggers whenever players play unusually well (suspiciously well) can be implemented. Note: Player’s performance can be determined by a crazy long win streak, or damage taken at the end of a match
Can be used for chainbound too, if it has ranked 1v1s.
