i may have made a suggestion like this before, but i forgor.
questions channel rn is in the support server, which is found in #📩│ban-appeals-and-support.
Let’s say you’re a fresh, brand new member who just joined for the first time, and you don’t know anything about the layout of the server. So, you, being a considerate person, go to look around for a questions channel. But what you don’t expect, is for it to be hidden in a server, in a channel that literally starts with “Ban appeals”. Most normal people, after not seeing an obvious questions channel, would just assume that it doesn’t exist, instead of thinking “Hey, maybe it’s in another server and it’s mixed together with the materials you need to get fucking unbanned.•
Most other servers that have question channels put them in the main server, where it can be easily found, because it’s easy and convenient for members, without causing any real cluttering or inconvenience.
Maybe it’s just me, but personally, when i want to ask a quick, simple question for the first time, i don’t want to ask a question to find the place to ask questions, then join a completely separate server, then find the actual questions channel.
I get that getting people to answer your questions is categorised as “support”, but do you really need a whole other server for all the support content found? The only extra things found in the support server is the appeal results channel, and the questions channel, which i’m sure wouldn’t cause any deaths to be added to the main server. After all, the ban appeal link can also be found in the main server, and there’s even your funny ticket support system which, for some reason, isn’t in the support server too?
