#Mugen Train fast travel & Gamemode (Enmu and Akaza Boss)

I once again am in the middle of a huge shit, so i wrote this suggestion because i can.

Brief overview: Mugen Train is added as a form of fast travel for slayers, but can only be unlocked by completing the Mugen Train gamemode at least once.

Fast Travel
Only demon slayers or humans can use the Mugen Train.

There will be multiple train stations located around the map near important places, like villages. Players will use these train stations to access the Mugen Train fast travel method.

Upon using the train, the player is instantly teleported to his destination.

All stations should be linked by a train track for visual purposes, and also for clarity (for the next part where i explain the pricing of the Mugen Train)

Using the train will cost ingame currency, yen ¥. The price of the ride depends on the distance travelled; calculated by the number of train stations passed. The base price for each journey will be 1800¥. For every train station passed by after the second station, an additional 1200¥ is charged. (For example, if a player travels from Station 1 directly to Station 2, he will pay 1800¥. If he travels from Station 1 to Station 3, passing by Station 2, he will pay 3000¥.)

The price of these trains may seem high, but the purpose is to make fast travelling not as convenient for humans compared to demons, to serve as a downside or “nerf” to slayer gameplay (without affecting PVP).

The train is disabled for players in combat mode.

By default, human players will not be able to use the Mugen Train, unless they successfully complete the Mugen Train Mission Gamemode, which i will elaborate on.

Mugen Train Mission Gamemode
As stated in the heading, this mission should be a gamemode. Players can team up to create parties of up to 4 players. Demons cannot join this gamemode.

Players must be level 50 or above to participate in this gamemode.

Ran out of space. Continuation can be found below.

#

Part 1:
All players will spawn in the train. Each player will spawn in a separate compartment. The lights will flicker, and a few (~ 4) demon mobs will spawn. All demon mobs will have the same health and level.

Part 2:
When all demon mobs are cleared, all players will then go to sleep. Each player is teleported to their own dream world. In this realm, players will have to fight a replica of themselves. The mob will be exactly like the player fighting it. Defeating the mob ends this part.

Part 3:
All players will wake up and spawn in the same train compartment. The interior of the train starts to transform and tentacles emerge from the walls, ceiling and floor of the train. Behind the players, multiple deadly tentacles are slashing relentlessly, and are moving towards the players. The players will have to run forward, away from the wall of tentacles behind, as fast as they can. Tentacles will also start to grow from the walls of the train, which obstruct and slow down players who run into them. If a player is too slow and the deadly tentacles reach him, he will die. After every player runs through 3 compartments, they will reach Enmu, ending this part.

Part 4:
The front of the train transforms into a big “cage” with tentacles. Enmu Bossfight begins. This bossfight should be relatively easy.

Enmu will stand in the middle of the bossfight area. He cannot move, but can be stunned. Stunning Enmu prevents him from attacking.

Enmu will occasionally send blasts which stun players hit by it. He will also occasionally summon tentacles which grab and hold a player, dealing slight, but constant damage to him. The player must complete a small, easy challenge (E.g. Spamming a button) to break free. Enmu cannot launch further attacks on a player who is currently held by a tentacle.

Tentacle attacks can happen while Enmu is stunned.

Once Enmu is defeated, this part ends.

Part 5:
The train crashes and all players are teleported to a flat area beside the wrecked train. The Akaza boss will plunge into the ground from the sky, knocking players back. This starts the bossfight.

Akaza will have multiple attacks that he can launch.

Combo: Akaza will use this combo everytime he is able to land a light attack on a player. The combo can be interrupted. Interrupting the combo will end it. Akaza will first use 4 light attacks, then he uses a weaker version of Attack 2 which extends his combo. He uses another 5 light attacks, which knocks back the player, ending the combo.

Attack 1: Akaza will chargeup, playing a sound cue. This chargeup cannot be interrupted. Akaza will then teleport behind a random player and perform an uppercut attack, which stuns the player. The player also becomes concussed, and his screen will become distorted for 2 seconds. Akaza will then proceed into his Combo.

Attack 2: Akaza will chargeup (cannot be interrupted), playing a unique sound cue. The AOE of his attack is marked on the ground. Then, he unleashes a large-AOE barrage of punches (Akaza’s BDA, Disorder). Players cannot block the attack.

Attack 3: Akaza will enter a short chargeup, then charge towards a random player. The chargeup can be interrupted. The attack can also be interrupted if Akaza is hit or stunned while he is charging towards a player. If Akaza successfully hits a player, he will perform his Combo. Players can block and dodge this attack.

Attack 4: Akaza will leap into the air. He cannot be damaged or stunned in this state. He will perform 3 sets of Air Style attacks, where small circles are highlighted on the ground, marking the AOE of the attacks. Akaza will launch multiple, fast shockwaves at the marked areas. Players cannot block this attack. After Attack 4 ends, Akaza can immediately proceed into Attacks 1 and/or 3.

#

Attack 5: Akaza only uses this occasionally after a Combo. He will launch multiple fast shockwaves at the player he just attacked. The affected player has a short time window to block. This attack can be blocked and dodged.

Attack 6: Akaza will leap into the air. A filled circle appears at the center of the battle area on the ground and grows larger. This circle is purely visual. Once the circle reaches the edges of the battle area, fully highlighting the whole area, the circle will pulse, and Akaza plunges down. Ragdolling and severely damaging any players on the floor. Players will have to jump as the circle pulses to avoid the attack. After this attack, Akaza will take around 8 seconds to recover, so players can use this opportunity to attack and combo Akaza. This attack cannot be blocked.

Attack 7: As Akaza is getting attacked, he has a small chance of blasting nearby players away.

Once Akaza is defeated, he will run away, ending the bossfight, and completing the mission.

Note:

  • There should be multiple difficulties of this mission. Each difficulty can only be played by certain levels. (E.g. Easy - Level 50 to 80) This is to prevent players from getting carried too hard.

  • I know Part 2 may be a little impractical to implement in the game.

  • The Akaza bossfight should be fast-paced

  • This gamemode should reward decent EXP and Yen ¥

Edit: I do not have a weird obsession with tentacles.
