basically dsrpg2 was basically just a BORING npc beater game and quest spamming. If we have a lore or actual storyline like where your having a good time with your family then you fall asleep, next thing yo ass see’s is blood and dead bodies. Then you see a goofy ah demon walking away, then you grab a katana and approach the demon for a tutorial. Basically the tutorial is where you have to learn how to block, m1/m2, dodge, etc. After your done with the tutorial you will now enter the real game.
#a good ass and reasonable lore or storyline for dsrpg3? (maybe a tutorial)

How about you're staying with a family friend that you haven't seen in a while, and someone comes to the house you're staying at breaking the bad news that your family was killed by a pack of demons.
Then, your family friend, reveals they are a retired demon slayer. They decide to teach you how to properly use a katana and show you the controls. They become your mentor for a bit basically and show you the ropes to the game.
Just thought of this out of the top of my head. It wouldn't be a demonfall copy and it sticks with the concept that your family was killed by demons.
