Currently, if a user intentionally abuses a bug, even if he gets reported, the user will receive NO punishment at all, regardless of how severe the bug exploitation is.
This includes exploiting yen drain bug, which people can freely abuse to steal another player’s almost entire progress
I suggest that bug exploiters who abuse a minor bug (e.g. Unkillable in gamemode) will only receive a punishment if they’re reported, and when the reporter provides CLEAR video evidence that the bug abuser is intentionally exploiting the bug maliciously and making the game unfair.
Whereas for more severe bugs (E.g. Yen drain); If a player reports the abuser with clear video evidence of the incident, then the abuser receives a punishment. (Unless “abuser” is shown intentionally trying to avoid abusing the bug. For example, he turns away from the downed body, trying not to yen drain)
Why i think this should be implemented: The existence of bugs is not any player’s fault, but abusing one for personal gain undoubtedly is. Right now, people are unreasonably losing progress due to bug abusers, and nobody’s doing much about it.
Severity of a bug is up to the support team to determine.
tldr: punish bug abusers if there’s evidence that they’re intentionally doing it.
