Before I tell you this, I HATE slayer marks (Demonfall dogshit), it’s unrealistic and a last minute clutch will make me track the IP of my opponent.
Now that you know that I’m not a fan of slayer marks, let’s move on.
So if you’re giving slayers a buff, make it a good one. Just to balance things don’t make slayer marks completely useless. Demons should get better buffs too. Unlike rpg2, give them legendary buffs when they evolve. When humans and demons evolve to their last stage, they both get fury meters, once full, humans unlock their marks and demons get their bdas awakened (awakened bdas are actually a thing in the anime).
Unlike femboy devs that just give you slayer marks when you’re low (no skill), the more hits you land, this meter will grow (and slightly when you take damage as we don’t want new players to rage quit). Awakened bdas also help explore more opportunities, such as Akaza compass can be awakening exclusive, Douma Buddha, rui red strings and kokushibo long sword (increases hit box of attacks) and many more.
Slayer marks won’t be terrible either, give them a cool effect, not just a mark on your face, and increase a humans offensive capabilities. Their breathing moves won’t change, but they’ll look better, deal more damage and increase the hit box of attacks. They become momentarily faster than demons, have quicker moves and m1’s and dealing combos becomes way easier.
So to sum it all up, if y’all are ever adding slayer marks, do awakened bdas too.
