#Different servers for different locations on the map

Instead of combining the whole map, making it big and therefore causing more lag, break the map up into smaller regions that you travel to by joining another server

this concept is similar to project slayers

Example: in dsrpg, the will be servers where it’s only akimaya. if you want to travel to rice fields, you open up a menu and click a button that sends you to another server, where the entire map is just rice fields

This allows for maps to be much bigger without causing more lag. However, the concept of exploration while traveling between regions will be lost.

Take the concept of vesteria

#

theres different ways to traverse

#

Through Taxi Dave
Runes
A Special Ticket to get to a certain island for level 20-30 players

#

or just through parts of the map thats a dark cave and once you go in you get put into a different place

Like for instance you can have a map related to normal people stuff, such as Akiyama town, the village where tanjiro originates from, Zenitsus village and all the things that kickstarts the game

#

Then the map can be further divided into the slayers domain, and the demons’ domain

#

Final selection can be a map of its own (hopefully it’s VERY big)

#

And lastly infinity castle too

Streaming enabled makes it easier to have big maps

#

Its a roblox feature that lets developers load in parts of the map onto the client only if the player is nearby

or maybe make it so that one region caters for a level group

#

for example low levels (i.e. 1-75) perform best in the first region because quests there suit their levels

#

then the next region will have stronger npcs, harder quests for higher levels

ehh I just don't see this working

#

While your suggestions have never been outright bad, this one is questionable at least for me

#

Not a bad suggestion but

#

Rpg3 is actually streaming enabled

#

Meaning map renders as you move

#

So I don't think we'll have to do this for performance
