no it’s not demon slayer, it’s demon slayer rpg
if you wanna stay THAT close to the anime, then we become ghosts after death
mf played too much deepwoken
Well in actual demon slayer, you die forever
Sooo
And it’s a 100% chance to get wiped when you die
exactly
🗿
it’s not a 1/3 chance that you die when your head gets chopped off
it’s a 3/3 chance
And that happens at any time in the day
Tf is this suggestion

sarcasm is funny I KNEW IT
Would you rather us lie
Understandable have a good day
you to
Permadeath isn't always a good idea because a good principle for games is that the gain needs to seem more than the loss during permadeath
eg. Deepwoken if you die, you have a chance to do another build with a completely different playstyle
but if you have a questline system then its not very good because you're making the player replay the game because they died to some nerd 50 levels higher than you or something
Suprise suprise, there are other ways to make games harder other than permadeath. (Smaller parry windows, more unpredictable enemy attacks, more enemy health, longer stun on certain abilities, etcetc)
Making a game hard means taking the current game's mechanics and making it so it needs more skill to play at a decent pace, but doesnt always mean punishing the player for not being able to play the game properly. That's actually taking candy from a baby. (the baby is the brand new player who has zero clue how to play the game)
even with the chance of permadeath, I played Shinobi Life 2 CC and I can confidently tell you no one progressed, and ended up doing wintrading so they wouldn't lose anything. In the same way, people will use exploits on the game so they will lose nothing.
tldr: don't add permadeath for the sake of adding permadeath, its a really dumb notion that's ruined half of anime games in 2019
Brodie this ain't deepwoken
no perma death will not be a thing
