No making bigger maps don't cause lag it's like the textures and stuff that cause all the lag you can go into the Roblox studio and add a infinite baseplate and it won't make lag despite it being so large it's not nesiciarliy the maps size but the textures and graphics so a larger map is possible but if theese developers make like rtx like textures and stuff it would lag not the maps
