#Map Scaling

The map should be scaled like the anime, where everything is WAY further apart. It would bring more life to the game. I would also recommend adding human npcs that demons could feed on and to add more life as well.

There is finna be so many complaints and will lower end devices be able to handle it?

It also depends on if there will be terrain in between the places

#

If there isn’t then making the map bigger would be pointless

This suggestion is not practical and doesn’t make sense

#

A bigger map means more stuff that has to be generated at one time, leading to more lag

#

Mobile devices and bad computers suffer most from this

#

Server lag also becomes more unbearable than it already is

#

There’s also no point in extra terrain if there’s no content in it, except to annoy players travelling between areas

#

Don’t forget that slayers do not have fast travel

#

Newer players already get lost sometimes with the current map, increasing its size will not be good for them

The server would be more laggy, people would most likely end up complaining about the map being too big and if your going to make a suggestion it might as well be one for dsrpg3 since they won't be working on dsrpg2 in a while most likely

since when did he say dsrpg2

the map would be bigger than demonfall's, but not by much. for low end devices, there will be a low quality setting anyone can enable, there always has been. Of course there will be terrain inbetween the major points. The major points could also be far larger then they were in dsrpg2. This is a suggestion for dsrpg3.

Optimization + ratio

honestly, as long as dsrpg2 isnt as poorly optimized as dsrpg2 was, ill be fine.

we have streaming enabled on our newer games so

#

map size shouldnt be too much of an issue

#

like we keep saying, we've done the anime timeskip

#

the training

#

we can bring out higher quality games

#

(compared to rpg2)

map size also depends on what sorta gameplay you're trying to create

#

the gameplay shouldnt be getting lost on the map

finding yourself in a unfamiliar world

Lagg is already bad, extending the map and missions would make it WAYYYY worse
