Not really exaggerating when i say this, the bow just dosent exist anymore. I added a plugin that was supposed to add some new items and weapons, and after unsucessfully getting the textures to work for bedrock players, I removed the plugin entirely. Now, for some reason on bedrock edition only, bows dont exist. They dont have a texture, a name, anything! Bedrock players cant even craft them! Anyone have any problems like this before?
#I accidentally removed the entire bow.

In the screenshot above is a bedrock player hovering over a bow they had aquired before the item-adding plugin was installed
That's a custom item, and for it to have a texture, you'll need to have a Bedrock edition resource pack + Geyser mappings. See our wiki and the pins in #custom-resource-packs for help
!!custom
Geyser has support for custom items and custom blocks! Player heads can also be registered to show up in the Bedrock player inventory.
For information on custom items, see here.
For custom blocks, see here.
For player heads, see here.
Some conversions must be done manually. For example:
- Converting glyphs or rank icons
- Custom sounds. Do note: Custom sounds should be registered under a custom namespace!
- Armor textures.
- JSON UI can be used to create inventory menus, change scoreboard titles, and overall beautify your Minecraft Bedrock UI experience. See JSON UI for more information.
For help with Bedrock edition resource packs, #custom-resource-packs features useful information in the pinned messages.
its not a custom item... its a bow. I know this because i crafted it on java edition then gave it to this account you see in the screenshot
unless your saying its been replaced by a custom item?
what's the output of /paper dumpitem when you hold that item in the hand?
should the bedrock player run it or does it not matter
doesnt matter
ok give me a sec
minecraft:bow{Damage:0}
do you have any geyser mappings in your custom_mappings folder?
a few yea
actually going through these
I might not need these
that may be the problem
lol removing the unnecessary mappings fixed it
thanks!
