TLDR: Since 2 of the lifeforms aren't good for any class, and optimal builds require general/explorer tech trees on Humans, give us 4 tech tree profiles instead of having to switch lifeform.

So we can save/load current tech setup to profiles, and techs can be easily switched on the same lifeform, which is what one would want when switching class. (It still require building up each tech tree/spend artifacts, they'd just be tied to profiles instead of lifeform, so shouldn't negatively impact Ogame's revenue.)

1 slot per class + an extra slot for... research speed/discount techs or whatever other non-class optimized purposes. You can save current techs setup to one of the slot. So you still have to build up each tech build on all planets. But you can load one of the profile slot, and it switches all available tech slots (if you have sufficient population for that slot) based on that saved setup. Loading a setup would trigger a cooldown before you can switch again, just like lifeform.

(Alternatively, just let us setup one planet, save that as tech profiles, and let us quick apply a profile to any planets at will afterward. The tech switching just isn't manageable when you have multiple planets.)

Justification (no need to read that):
Right now to switch techs from a build to another, it's kind of expected you switch lifeforms. There is basically one lifeform for each class. Except Kaelesh are mostly useless, Mechas are of dubious use and Rock'Tal is strong for collector, Humans are strong for general/explorer, and fairly decent for collector.

End result is you'll want to switch techs on humans/rocktals, except... It's random. Or takes months of farming artifacts. You can switch class easily but switching techs to match is just not feasible in a useful timespan.

And using DM for quick resets is out of question, you can't reset a tier and reselect techs 200 times until you get the exact tech combo for the build, times 3 tiers, time 15+ planets. You'd spend 50h and $20000 each time you change class.

It's already long enough to make each tech builds, but current setup makes switching classes entirely unmanageable and I hate it since when I can be involved actively, I can go general, when I have work to do but can be at computer, I can be disco. When I can't watch too much, I can go collector. Those tech boosts are fairly big but they can't be easily switched to fit class changes. It's all so damn tedious. The ability to be on one of 4 different tech profiles and switch everything at will would fix this (but still require the investment of building up the 4 profiles with artifacts)

It's a competitive games and lifeforms currently make staying competitive very, very tedious (and not in the fun, involved way like fleeting)
