A periphery made light mech built around fire support and low cost per unit, the clipper was built in 2835 by former SLDF descendants that accidentally fell off from kerensky's jumpship path towards the pentagon worlds. the landing location was however a unfortunate one, being a relative short 4 jump distance from tortuga. it is unknown as to their fates.

I'll drop a suggestion.

  1. It's a nice mech. 5/8/5 with 3 LRM5's and double smalls? With that kind of armor? Now thats a monster. But I really think you should give it a... Weaker, variant. Downgrade the engine, up-armor it, give it an LRM 10. This is supposed to be a periphery mech, so the idea of it having cobbled together whatever they could get out of it, while making up for its lack of advanced weapons/engine with armor, feels like it fits the idea more, and also makes the mehc overall feel less 'gamey'.
