I wanted to change the layout of the kitchen area so I removed some of the flooring under a couple of pieces of equipment, including the juicer, thinking it would default to my inventory or pop out as a collectable item. The items, instead, disappeared. I'm still pretty early into the game so I'm just going to make a new save file, but this should really be looked at.
On the same note, it would be nice if I could freely change the layout without worrying about costs after changing my mind. I'll post more about this in the suggestions chat, assuming it isn't also some sort of bug.
