I bought two recipes from the altar, one being hors d'oeuvres, and when I got back to the inn I couldn't find the recipe on any of the equipment. I checked my learned recipes and didn't see it there either. Just before purchasing I think I was foraging and just after I did some fishing. Edit - just checked the altar and I see the recipe is still for sale. So the actual bug is that I tried to buy it, my fragments were taken, and I didn't actually get the recipe.
