Since the last update, in a coop game, in the store you can only buy cows for 3477 gold, not chicken, other animals or prices

That's important information, because if you play solo this bug was fixed. It still seems to happen when playing with a second player.

Until then, you might have to buy animals while solo, then have the 2nd player join again afterwards.
