An Open Letter to Lilith & The Warpath Community

​I am writing this as a stakeholder who looks at Warpath from all sides of the table. I am not a "free-to-play" player, but I understand a fundamental truth: money can buy a competitive edge, but it cannot buy a "living" game.
​The "Broken Foundation"
We are currently being sold "luxury furniture" while the foundation of the house is crumbling. Persistent Unit Logic Failures (pathing), Server Latency, and chat resets are Technical Debt that has come due. Prioritizing monetization while neglecting Server Integrity is a failed business model.
​The Lifeblood of the Game
The $1k-and-under players are the lifeblood of this ecosystem. Without them, the maps are empty, competition is stale, and the "Whales" are simply playing in an expensive, empty room. When the User Experience (UX) fails the many, the game dies for the few.
​A Call for Accountability
We demand a roadmap that prioritizes Quality of Life (QoL) and Support Response Tiers over the next monetization event. We need "Service Parity"—the game's health must carry the same weight as its revenue.
​Greed vs. Legacy
If "Entertainment" is fully replaced by "Extraction," this game will collapse. At 그 point, everyone’s time and money—regardless of the amount—becomes worthless. Choose long-term stability over short-term gain.
​Let’s build a legacy, not just a ledger.

AI is an exceptional way to increase productivity, as well as, the ability to articulate words/messages that may otherwise be perceived as emotional. By using AI (correctly), one can get the intended message across effectively without inadvertently including emotional language that could potentially damage the core message. So, not lazy. First and foremost, thank you for providing real substance to the discussion. I didn't write this expecting to be absolute, it was written to engage a discussion I believe to be important.

In regards to your thinking, I too struggle to think of ways that would benefit the business aspect (which is and should be Lilith's priority), as well as create balance between F2P and P2W, with the intention of invoking the awe inspiring battles we once saw in the beginning years of the game.

Lastly, you diminished your intellectual weight of the substance in your message by attempting to attack my own intelligence. What was the point regarding that I "use my brain before writing?" Simply invoking the keyboard warrior trolls like Reaper and Yoshi. As well as inspiring your own need to provide your opinion, I am accomplishing the purpose..... discussion and thought.

My response to your attempt at discussion: why is it impossible to generate increasing profit flow through P2W players AND find a way to positively impact F2P players?

because nothing will change? if F2P players get a buff lets say 50% more firepower, so will the p2w players get it my point is that every buff f2p could possible get that also p2w players, so its not possible to buff f2p players, since its just incresse the buffs, not the power of a f2p player to fight better

Nah I don't agree with nerfing either, you can't take away items that people paid for, which is why the balancing issue isn't something that can be fixed. The fact that they limit your units to a certain star level and unit level at silver and gold battlefields is as much as they can really do. P2W model is the same in every game

people expect to be able to compete against someone that spend 10k more than them is unreasonable

but it does create problems for balancing when there are more and more areas that spenders excel in... officer gear, lounge gear etc, it is just more hurdles for people that don't have the money/time to invest to keep up

This message is the exact reason for my discussion. @bronze bane @dense socket first of all, thank you both for your opinions.

I wish I could defend Lilith's attempt at balancing. Referencing the latest update regarding units (Navy), Lilith attempted to balance Navy by slowly progressing the star level. In my opinion, this worked. However, as Lilith progressed Navy, they failed to properly adjust the damage AA Navy inflicts on Air, as well as, properly adjust Air unit's affect on Navy units and Bases in water.

My concern is that Lilith developers produce impactful updates without fully realizing cause/effect

Obviously not vetted, but I have been thinking of ways to grant rewards in C4 events that would "most likely " benefit F2P accounts. Think building points/time, repute, AG K/D or AG creation/time. Again, these are simple and unvetted thoughts, but possibly a think tank to potential solutions
