Rome, Italy - Warpath Correspondent Report by JarlEisenFaust β September 1, 2024
The once quiet dawn was shattered by the rumble of artillery and the roar of battle cries as the coalition forces of H.S (S31), ALFa (S52), Jk45 (S45), and SEN (S44) launched a massive, coordinated assault on the southern front of the fortified inner sanctum. What began as a calculated siege by the allied forces of SAZ (S15), SV42 (S42), SYN (S15), and CORP (S32) has devolved into a chaotic and bloody engagement that will be remembered as a bitter reversal of fortune.
For fifteen days, the allied forces held firm, tightening their grip around the strategic entrances to Rome's inner sanctum. The coalition had been battered and repelled time and again, as their advances were met with fierce resistance. The fortified blockhouses that ring the sanctum stood as impregnable bastions, defying every attempt at incursion. But all of that changed today.
