First of all, i have to give it a big thumbs up because it plays well. the environment is great and the characters are well made. solid game where there is nothing to regret.

i'm only going to criticize here what i don't like or what might be better in a different way. everything i don't mention here can be seen as positive 😛

Things that are totally important to me I mark with a smilie behind the text.

  1. there absolutely needs to be a UI scaling slider and HDR slider in the game. (Blush_Ferryman )
  2. jump attack doesn't feel good, much too slow and often you get caught by flying enemies because the animation takes so long, this should be reworked. (Blush_Ferryman )
  3. there should be an attack you can do when jumping down, when I jump down on an enemy I should be able to do an attack from above instead of just doing the normal jump attack. (Blush_Ferryman )
  4. more blood when killing enemies - yes when you critically hit you get to see some blood - which I think is cool but there could be more of that, after all it is a “dark” game
  5. better explanations in the talent tree. example: if the talent says +1 constitution, you have exactly 0 idea what constitution actually does. you have to go to the menu and scroll through all the pages until you find what it does. - honestly, that's bad. if i'm in the talent tree and it says +1 constitution, there should be a button i can press to see exactly what constitution or any other talent actually does - or better yet, a box should pop up directly under the word and provide an explanation. (it's annoying when you have to leaf through a dictionary to find out exactly what something is. (Blush_Ferryman )

  1. i don't know why, but i wrote it down - the handle of the starting sword looks somehow too thick? what i also notice with the sword or in general, if you carry it on your back then it slides through the robe / armor, it would be great to pack the sword a little so that this doesn't happen.
  2. there should be heavy attacks. when i press X and strike normally, there should also be a heavy blow when i hold X and charge - especially good when the opponent is stunned - i really miss that! (Blush_Ferryman )
  3. it should NOT cost stamina when i'm in town or better, when i'm NOT in combat (you can't loot in combat either) when i sprint!!!! it's just annoying and has no real disadvantage (Blush_Ferryman )
  4. there should be an attack that you make from sprinting, when i sprint to an opponent (which costs stamina in battle) there should also be a fast sprint attack instead of always just the normal attack (Blush_Ferryman )
  5. honestly, i miss a bow. as a wizard you can easily shoot an enemy that flies around with a spell (flying enemies are always annoying in such games) so you should also have the possibility to use a bow, maybe with a lot of stamina costs instead of mana or craftable arrows but i miss it in the game (Blush_Ferryman )
  6. sometimes i get a short freeze in the game. often only happens when you are in combat (never happens outside of combat) and then usually only when you run up to an opponent and want to hit him for the first time... (happened to me about 8 times in the run) kind of funny (Blush_Ferryman ) - also had 1x ERROR when trying to teleport from one resting place to another. (Blush_Ferryman )
  7. some NPCs are washed out, for example the guy in the town who talks to the child, the faces look very washed out.

  1. jumping while sprinting feels kind of buggy. sometimes when you sprint and then press jump it doesn't jump and you fall down... this happened to me OFTEN and actually frustrated me the most that i came to the conclusion that sprinting + jumping feels like crap and i stopped using it. (Blush_Ferryman )
  2. dodge roll is sometimes weird. it should be more like in elden ring. if you roll through a trap you still get damage, traps in general feel kind of weird especially because you can't use the roll.
the dodge roll is also sometimes weird when you roll to an enemy or try to dodge in general, you still get hit a lot. i wouldn't say that the range should be increased but rather that the frames where you don't get dmg should be extended so that it feels good at least. (Blush_Ferryman )
  3. loot goblin. if you kill the loot goblin there should be a minimal chance that his portal stays open and you can use it - like in diablo 3 - there is a short dungeon with a boss and extra loot - if you defeat him, you die in the portal it closes and the chance is lost.
  4. an option where you can display a staggerbar under the life bar of your opponents (Blush_Ferryman )
  5. enemy behaviour itself. i'm a fan of fnisher moves or sneaking up behind or other mechanics like that, that's not possible at all in this game, all enemies recognize you immediately, i would like to see more depth in the game, but that's whining on a high level and would probably just be the cherry on the cake.
  6. you should be able to teleport from any resting place to any other resting place. for example, you can't travel from the millhouse to anything else). that's just annoying.
  7. weight. 2nd weaponslots should NOT count towards the equip load. (Blush_Ferryman )

that's it for now 🙂 thanks for the demo and i'm looking forward to the release and especially what else will happen until then 🙂

i think the 11. is combat implementation that when you attack without stamina you get a "slow attack"
