can you screenshot the MobiFlight Modules tab in settings with the pico selected?
ASROCK 7500F: this is the RP2040 Board board as discovered:

The RP2040 removed and true PICO installed and flashed:

MSI B850 Gaming Plus Wifi, AMD 9850: I added both a generic rp2040 and the same exact PICO as above

This on Phantom 7500F - same boards recognized differently.

Let me know if you need more information.
BTW, On the 9850x3d the "Add Device" was enabled in the ddmenu.
Drop Down message box, rather.
As long as your board shows up as compatible you can't add a device as the board is not recognized.
As far as I understood an one PC both boards get recognized and on the other one not.
On the PC where the boards are not recognized (compatible), is there a program running which takes over the COM port?
It seems to be a bad motherboard. I will update if it turns out outherwise. It was a new Asrock Phantom Gaming B850M Riptide. Thanks to everyone that looked into this.
