If I start Mobiflight it's loads a lot of boards/modules/scripts/peripherals I don't have. After every update of Mobiflight I delete those in the Mobiflight-directory, but on the updates they return.

Could it be possible to select the modules etc. that you want to use.

can you show a screenshot of what you mean. you shouldnt need to delete anything in the directory?

i believe he is talking avout the board, joystick and midi definition json files

Yes, it's the definition files. They clutter the debug and (i don't know) use rescources in memory and performance. Starup is significantly longer with all the definitions.

fair enough. if you wanted to avoid the files getting replaced you could upgrade using the zip from github and only extract the files you need

That's also a possibility, but could also be a part of the installation. It's an idea and maybe the're more people that would like that.

we should lazy load them if controllers are matched. Or simply dont log... info-level is not needed
