Started MF and its asking me to upgrade to 11. When I click upgrade it gave me an error. what's up?

this is by clicking the ok to upgrade when MF loaded. But I downloaded MF11 via github and I got it installed.

So there is an issue with upgrading via MF

Is OneDrive configured to backup your user profile? Having it installed vs using Microsoft's default OneDrive setup are two different things

no. I am using MS onedrive default. So no idea if this caused the exception error

The default is that OneDrive backs up your user profile. Desktop, Documents and other folders will be synched to OneDrive

we know one thing: it only happens to installations that are not inside the official installation folder
