Is it possible this setting can be disabled by default? This particular setting often hits new users with the painful task of re-uploading firmware to devices setup for other 3rd party software.

he means on first start i guess, before even getting into it... and then just missing to cancel the auto-update during startup

If you knew the com ports beforehand you could add them into user.config 🙂

not very user-friendly, and most users wouldnt expect they had to do that
