I am working on the autopilot unit i want it to show the selected heading but when i show the degree logo ° it places a minus sign there. Is there any way to get the degree logo on there?

The character tables for HD44780-compatible LCDs can get a bit idiosyncratic outside the ASCII range, so special characters might be a bit hard to find. Personally, on the display sold on the MobiFlight shop, the closest equivalent to a degree sign I have found was hidden behind the... ß character, I believe.

Looks a bit silly in the preview window, but how it looks on the real lcd is ultimately what matters

the preview looks silly anyway becuase there are # @ and ? scatterd around to show information with config refenrences
