#Simconnect with MSFS2024

Hi All,
When my Mobiflight Module runs in MSFS2024 it tells me it can't connect to Simconnect. From what I understand, I need to opt in to the beta version. Will I need to uncheck this when I go back to MSFS 2020? I plan to run both sims until MSFS 2024 gets to the same level as MSFS 2020.
