Having built and installed my 2 lighting panels to control the screen brightness of the PFD/NAV etc they do work when you turn the knobs but Mobiflight doesn’t appear to be able to remember the last position when it is restarted so I end up having to give them a small turn to get an output value sent to the Arduino. It’s certainly a lot better than mousing them all down from full brightness (Fenix default) but is there a way to start Mobiflight with a set value between the 0 - 1023 range?
#Can Mobiflight remember potentiometer positions?

Mobiflight should go through all switch states when you press "Run" - but do you mean potentiometers do not do this?
You do have "auto retrigger" active in settings?
and, there seems to be an open bug about auto-retrigger not happening if mobiflight is in auto-run mode.
But I am wondering if autoretrigger just doesnt work for potentiometers. I will check when I get to my PC later today.
it should work. We are handling that correctly in the FW
Same setup. I remembered to get dark the Xplane, when connected next time. So I wantef to ask it here, but before it yesterday tested again and after starting MF all the dataref changed their value to the poti's position. So it seems it's working well under Xplane.
Very sorry guys, been on holiday for a few weeks and only just realised I asked this question. I will check the “auto re trigger” as suggested tomorrow 😀
OK had a chance to check today, I do have “Auto retrigger” ticked and Auto Run. I have found if I click “Stop” then “Run” the pots in the sim do move then to the physical positions of the actual pots.
