Seems to be happening for many people. I tried both iOS and Steam, both have the same issue. I still have the NFTs in my wallet, maybe a connectivity issue between bitheroes and the blockchain?

RESOLVED NFTs gone from character selection window
Problem went away within 15 minutes, should have just waited.
